Yes, time to meet up with Robert and Liz and for some serious eating and drinking!
Our first joint outing in Cape Town was to the stunning Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. This was followed by a little light wine tasting and later "Sundowners", a really popular tradition here, followed by a posh meal overlooking Camp's Bay, unbelievable value by our standards.
The four of us then took off to the "Wine District" staying for 3 nights in Franschhoek for some serious (in terms of consumption at least) wine tasting. One day self guided after a spectacular walk, one guided amd one cycling. The sun shone, a brilliant blue sky and some great wine.
